Breyer Horse Collection
My Breyers are probably one of my longest running collections if not THE longest. It started when my mom passed down her childhood Breyers to me, and I fell in love with them. I've taken breaks collecting throughout the years, these ponies aren't cheap, but I keep coming back to them. I primarily focus on the Traditional scale models, although I do find myself getting really interested in the Stablemates lately. The site "Identify Your Breyer" has been both the biggest help and the reason my wishlist is as long as it is- I can't help it, they're all pretty!

2002 Naranda, Limited Edition. "Super Fun" thing about Naranda: she technically has three points of support, because her tail is supposed to act as a third support, so she doesn't come with a stand. The three points is in theory. In reality, she is extremely unstable and often fell over. And since as a child I kept all of my Breyers in a line on the same shelf (there was no room to spread them out at all) her falling over meant the rest of them would fall over. The sound of the entire row of horses falling was extremely common and both my parents and I knew what the sound was immediately. I remember waking up in the middle of the night and just muttering "dang it, Naranda!"
2003 Napoleon's Marengo. My parents gave him to me for my birthday that year, which happened while we were on vacation in San Francisco. They wrapped and packed him in their suitcase to surprise me the morning of!
